With their new EP ‘Saudade’ a month away from release, Boston Manor are streaming another new track, in the form of ‘Shade’. Already a live favourite, the song sees the band delve further into their emotive side than ever before, combining their explosive punk rock sensibilities with something altogether more sensitive and nuanced, exploring light and, indeed, shade.
‘Saudade’ will be Boston Manor’s first release for renowned US indie label Pure Noise and is set for release on 20th November. The video for first single ‘Trapped Nerve’ can also be viewed here. Explaining the sentiment behind the EP, vocalist Henry Cox muses “Saudade is a profound melancholy and longing for something or someone. Sometimes for something that you’ve never experienced or possessed. It carries the knowledge that person or thing for which you are longing may never return.”
The band have recently been on tour with Forever Came Calling and they’ll be playing a special Halloween show with Creeper, as well as the Community London Festival.
Building a name for themselves with their modern day emotive punk anthems, Boston Manor have toured with the likes of Moose Blood and As It Is and are set to become one of the stand-out gems in the UK’s burgeoning rock scene.
